Frequently Asked Questions

  • I work with most ages! My space is tailored to working with folks aged 6 and older. However, I’m happy to discuss working with younger children as needed.

  • I accept HealthChoice, Blue Cross Blue Shield, and United.

  • I have a 24 hour cancellation policy. Late cancels and no-shows will be charged the full session rate.

    I have this policy to create space for other clients or members of the community who may be on a waiting or cancellation list.

  • In general I’ve found it helpful for clients to come weekly or bi-weekly at first. Those first few weeks are so important to develop the therapeutic relationship and start feeling more comfortable.

  • It’s important for me to create a space where all clients feel affirmed, supported, and safe. I do not discriminate in regard to race, religion, national origin, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, or disability.

    I honor different sensory needs by offering alternative approaches to talk therapy, such as art therapy or play therapy.

  • I can’t express how much I value parents role in the process of therapy with kids and teens. I will work with you to develop a plan for integrating parent or family sessions as needed.
